Ajay Kumar

Ajay Kumar is an academician and a former judge and is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the School of Law, UPES, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is a former Judicial Magistrate/Civil Judge from the State of Haryana. He has taught as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (2010-16), and GD Goenka University, Gurugram (2018-19), and he has more than fourteen years of teaching and industry experience. He completed his law graduation from Kurukshetra University and his Master’s in Law from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He is pursuing a Ph.D. from the HPNLU, Shimla. His areas for teaching and research are Criminal Laws, Human Rights, Family Laws, Property Law, Civil Procedure Law, Tort Law, etc. He has published research articles in reputed journals including ILI Law Review and JOLTI, Law Journal of the Law Centre I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and has edited a book on Human Rights
