Dr. Abhijeet P. Sinha

Dr. Abhijeet P. Sinha is a globally recognized public health expert and digital health innovator with over two decades of leadership experience across India, the UK, and Africa. He currently leads the Technical Support Unit at the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, through Ernst & Young. Holding a PhD in Population Health Informatics, an MPH from the University of Brighton (UK), and an MBA from XISS Ranchi, Dr. Sinha has contributed extensively to national and international health programs via roles at PATH, KPMG, Hindustan Unilever, NHS UK, CARE India, and UNICEF. His work focuses on digital health innovation, policy design, and Health Technology Assessment (HTA), where he has played a key role in advancing evidence-based policy decisions through platforms like ADOPT and HTAIn. Dr. Sinha is the creator of the patented “Swayam Diabetes” mHealth application and has developed key frameworks like CDIU and QIMA for mobile health innovation and evaluation. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications covering mHealth, diabetes care, TB adherence, and public health technology. Recognized globally, he has received the 2025 Global Recognition Award, the 2023 Poshan Award by Dainik Jagran, and multiple accolades from PATH for leadership and innovation. Dr. Sinha also serves on advisory boards for global organizations such as AcademyHealth, IAPHS (USA), and PlusPoint (Switzerland), and is a scientific committee member for ICOPH 2025.
