Dr Ajay Kumar Singh

Dr.Ajay Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forestry,Wildlife & Environmental Sciences at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya(GGV),Bilaspur,with more than 15 years of experience in teaching,research and academic administration.He holds a Ph.D in Forestry from GGV and specializes in Remote Sensing and GIS applications in forestry,forested watershed management landscape dynamics and biodiversity assessment.His research focuses on integrating geospatial forestry.He is the recipient of several recognitions,including Young Scientist award and Scientist of the Year honours from reputed scientific bodies.In adition to research and teaching,he actively contributes to capacity building,academic mentoring and institutional development initatives,demonstarting strong commitment to advancing forestry education and applied environmental research in India.
