Dr. Deepika Lokesh

Dr. Deepika Lokesh is currently serving as a Professor & Head in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at C Byregowda Institute of Technology, Kolar, affiliated with VTU Belgaum. She is a dedicated and distinguished academician with over 16 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She has played a crucial role in advancing the interdisciplinary applications of computer science and emerging technologies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from GVIT, a Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science from SJCIT, Chickballapur, and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VTU, Belagavi. An active member of IEI (Institution of Engineers, India), she has significantly contributed to the growth of engineering education and research. Her research focuses on Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning. With several high-impact research papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences, her contributions to distributed computing and digital transformation strategies have positioned her as a thought leader in academia. As a mentor and guide, she has supported numerous students in their research on emerging technologies. Her dedication to curriculum development, fostering innovation, and promoting collaborative learning has enriched the learning experience of many aspiring engineers.
