Dr. Divya Dwivedi

Dr. Divya Dwivedi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, UPES Dehradun, where she teaches International Trade & Investment Law, International Economic Law, and Data Protection Law. Her academic work spans constitutional law, data protection, and the interface between technology and governance, along with International Trade Law She completed her legal education at Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, and earned her master’s specialisation in International Trade & Investment Laws from National Law University, Jodhpur, graduating with academic distinction. Dr Dwivedi holds a doctoral degree in law,supported by a full-term ICSSR fellowship, and her doctoral research critically examines data privacy and public service delivery in India. Her scholarship is grounded in constitutional theory and engages closely with questions of power, dignity, and the evolving role of the State in an information-driven society. Through her teaching and scholarship, Dr Divya seeks to bridge theory and practice, encouraging a critical understanding of law as a dynamic instrument shaping democratic governance.
