Dr. Divya Thigale

Dr. Divya Thigale is a Post-Graduate Scholar in Shalakya Tantra at Parul Institute of Ayurved, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. She completed her undergraduate education at S.M.B.T. Ayurvedic Medical College, Nandi Hills, Dhamangaon-Ghoti, affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS).Her postgraduate research focuses on the Ayurvedic management of Karnasrava (Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media) through the clinical evaluation of Modified Samudraphena Varti,integrating classical Ayurvedic concepts with contemporary therapeutic approaches. She has actively contributed to Ayurvedic research through publications in Web of Science-indexed journals, DOAJ journals and presentations at national and international conferences. She is the author of Shalakya Tantra Netra Roga Chikitsa Vigyana (Part-1)-Ophthalmology Disorders, a textbook developed in accordance with the CBDC Syllabus of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) of Shalakya Tantra. Through her academic and research pursuits, she aims to contribute to the systematic development and wider recognition of Ayurveda as a scientifically validated healthcare system.
