Dr. Ipsita Ghosh

Dr. Ipsita Ghosh is a postgraduate scholar in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at Awadh Dental College and Hospital, Jamshedpur, with a strong academic and clinical inclination toward paediatric oral healthcare. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from Haldia Institute of Dental Sciences and Research under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. After qualifying the NEET entrance examination in 2023 she is currently pursuing her Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry. She has also served as a Junior Resident Doctor at Burdwan Medical College and Hospital and Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital, where she gained valuable clinical experience in patient management and multidisciplinary care. Her areas of interest include paediatric endodontics, preventive and interceptive dentistry, and evidence-based clinical research. She has actively contributed to scientific literature through paper and poster presentations and is a Student Member of the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD). Alongside her academic pursuits, she has been involved in community oral health initiatives and school-based awareness programs. She demonstrates a keen enthusiasm for academic writing and has contributed to scholarly projects focusing on contemporary advances in paediatric dentistry, and with a patient centered approach and strong communication skills, she strives to create a positive dental experience for children and their caregivers while aspiring to build a career in academia and contribute meaningfully to research and the advancement of paediatric oral health.
