Dr. Kavita Tiwari

Dr. Kavita Tiwari serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dravyaguna Vigyan (Pharmacology and Materia Medica - Herbals) at Ankerite Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She earned her master’s degree in Dravyaguna Vigyan in 2019 from Shri Jagadguru Gavisiddheswara Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute, Koppal, Karnataka, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in 2014 from BLDEA's AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya in Vijayapur, Karnataka. Her academic achievements include graduating with distinction in four subjects during her undergraduate studies and securing the 7th rank in university examinations during her master’s program. Dr. Tiwari has actively contributed to the academic community by presenting scientific papers at both national and international conferences and publishing extensively in peer-reviewed journals of national and international standing. Her scholarly contributions include notable publications such as "Role of Laghupanchmooladi Bala Siddha Ksheera Paka in Management of Sandhivata W.S.R. to Knee Osteoarthritis," which was acknowledged as corresponding author and indexed under UGC-CARE. Another significant work, "An Applied Aspect of Prabhava as per Brihatrayee" was published and indexed in the Science Citation Index. Dr. Tiwari brings substantial clinical teaching experience to her role, complemented by specialized expertise in herbal drug identification. As a dedicated scholar and educator, she has worked to transform Prayoga Vigyan into an engaging and accessible subject for postgraduate Ayurveda students, making complex concepts more approachable and interesting for learners in the field.
