Dr. Mandira Chakraborti

Dr. Mandira Chakraborti, presently working as Subject Matter Specialist, Agronomy at ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Tripura. She did her Ph.D in Agronomy from Visva-Bharati, Central University. She has a professional experience of 18 years at ICAR-KVK system. She has been working in multidisciplinary team of Research-Complex System’ of North Eastern Region understanding the diverse ecosystems and has acquired the holistic approach for the overall development of small and marginal farmers of the region through location specific Integrated Farming System model. Her area of interest is Farming System Research, Resource Conservation Technologies, crop diversification with oilseeds, pulses in rice-fallow, water management, weed management, organic farming, natural farming and climate resilient agriculture. She has a substantial nos. of publication and awards in her credit.
