Dr. Masarat Bashir

The author is an Assistant Professor in College of Temperate Sericultute, SKUAST-Kashmir. She has done her Ph.D in Sericulture from SKUAST- K and is Fs.L.Sc Fellow .The author has done her M.Sc from University of Mysore. She is a double gold medallist in her Masters. She has 35 publications in reputed journals and 22 book chapters in reputed national and international Journals .Her field of research is Silkworm Physiology and silk nanoparticles. She is a life member of many societies and has been awarded woman empowerment award & Young women Scientist Award for her contribution in the field of sericulture for woman empowerment & livelihood security of unemployed educated women sericulture farmers.
