Dr. Pragati Chauhan

Dr. Pragati Chauhan graduated from Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad, and is currently pursuing her Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at JN Kapoor DAV (C) Dental College, Yamunanagar, Haryana. Her clinical interests include periodontal surgery, regenerative periodontics, laser dentistry and implant dentistry. During her postgraduate training, she has gained experience in nonsurgical and surgical periodontal therapy, mucogingival procedures, regenerative techniques, interdisciplinary cases and implant procedures. She has also performed numerous laser-assisted procedures for the management of various periodontal conditions. She has attended conferences organised by the Indian Society of Periodontology and has presented scientific papers and posters. Her postgraduate research compares the management of periodontal intrabony defects using an allograft alone and an allograft combined with injectable platelet-rich fibrin. Apart from academics, she has a keen interest in sports and fitness and has secured first position in both women’s singles and doubles badminton events.
