Dr. S. Arockiasamy,

Dr. S. Arockiasamy, hold his PhD degree from Loyola College (University of Madras) in Chennai. He has 13.5 years of teaching and research experience in VIT. He is currently focusiing on the development and thermal study of transition metal complexes of nickel, copper, cobalt, titanium, zinc etc., to be used as precursors for chemical vapour deposition (CVD) process. His expertise involves, measurement of vapour pressure and evaluation of thermodynamic parameters using TG-based transpiration technique. He is involved in the development of metal oxides and composite thin films utilizing Plasma Assisted MOCVD. In 2008, he was an outstanding foreign PhD fellow and a visiting Fellow at the Weismann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. He was a DST-Young Scientist Fellow during the period of 2013-2016. He has 25 international publications and an Indian Patent to his credit.
