Dr. Seema Amit Agarwal

Dr. Seema Amit Agarwal is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator who brings a wealth of expertise and scholarly vision to this edited volume. Currently serving as the In-Charge Principal of Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts & Commerce, Mumbai, she also chairs the Board of Studies in Mathematics, Statistics, and IT, where she plays a pivotal role in curriculum development and academic planning. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics/Statistics from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur,with her doctoral research focusing on “Special Functions of Matrix Argument and Lie Groups.” With over 23 years of teaching experience, Dr. Agarwal has consistently demonstrated excellence in both academics and administration. Her academic journey is further enriched by a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics from IGNOU, alongside her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics. Dr. Agarwal’s contributions to research and scholarship are extensive. She holds a published patent on “Statistical Regression Model for Real-Time Traffic Prediction in Urban Areas”(2024–25) and has authored nine textbooks and reference books in Mathematics, Statistics,Logic, and Data Interpretation. Her research portfolio includes 35 papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, including UGC-CARE listed and Scopus-indexed publications. She has also presented papers at numerous conferences and contributed chapters to edited volumes. Her academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards, such as the Best Women Researcher Award (2022–23) by INSPIRA, the National Education Award 2024 by PPR & Marketing Group, and the Best Faculty & Administrator Award 2024 by the Novel Research Academy, Puducherry. She is also a life member of Ganita Parishad (Rajasthan) and INSPIRA, reflecting her active engagement with the academic community.
