Dr. Sigma Satish

Dr. Sigma Satish is a poet, author, and academic based in Thiruvananthapuram. She previously served as a faculty member in English at SCT, Oman, under the Ministry of Manpower, and is currently the Head of the Department of English at VTM NSS College. She has authored several books and edited two research volumes. Her recent publication, World at Large: Haiku Poems, was published by the Kerala State Balasahitya Institute. Her poetry has appeared in renowned literary platforms and journals, including Poem Hunter, SETU, Kabita Live, Creative Saplings, Creative Minds, Muse India, Rock Pebbles, Kavya Kishore, and various anthologies.Dr. Sigma has received several literary recognitions, including the Mirabai Literary Award (2016), the Cochin Lit Fest Prize (2019), and the Bharat Sevak Samaj Honor (2023). She has represented India as a poet delegate at numerous national and international literary events, such as the SAARC Literary Festival, World Congress of Poetry, Poetic Prism, Kalinga Literary Festival, and Chandrabhaga Literary Festival.
