Dr. Supayan Pal

Dr. Supayan Pal is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a strong passion for clinical excellence, academic research, and medical education. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from RCDSR, Raipur, and is pursuing his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram. Before commencing his postgraduate training, Dr. Pal served as a Dental Surgeon at Agartala Government Medical College; G.B. Pant Hospital and Ramakrishna Mission Charitable Hospital, and also multiple dental clinics across Raipur and Bangalore, where he gained valuable experience in managing a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions. He has also undergone specialized observership training in head and neck oncology, further strengthening his interest in oral cancer diagnosis and management. An enthusiastic researcher and academician, Dr. Pal has authored and co-authored scientific publications in national and international journals and has presented papers and posters at numerous professional conferences. His research interests include oral oncology, maxillofacial trauma, reconstructive surgery, implantology, and evidence-based clinical practice. Driven by a commitment to simplify complex surgical concepts, Dr. Pal believes that quality educational resources should be practical, comprehensive, and accessible to both students and clinicians. Through this book, he aims to bridge the gap between theory and clinical application, providing readers with a reliable and easy-to-understand reference for everyday practice. Outside the operating room and academic life, Dr. Pal enjoys music, painting, and traveling, believing that creativity and continuous learning are essential qualities of every surgeon.
