Dr. Supriya Agrawal

Dr. Supriya Agrawal is a renowned academician, researcher, corporate trainer, financial literacy advocate & financial services expert with 17+ years of experience. Among them, 13 years were dedicated towards academics & nearly 4 years in the financial services industry as an employee of SBI Life Insurance limited – Head office, Mumbai. Currently, Dr. Agrawal is serving as a Faculty of Finance at Amity Business School – Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus. In this role, she is involved in teaching, research, training and student development initiatives. Before entering into academics, Dr. Agrawal was working with SBI Life Insurance ltd in their corporate office in Fort, Mumbai. There she gained an enriching exposure of the Indian financial services sector. Dr. Agrawal is also a SEBI registered SMART trainer, a certified securities market educator & an active participant in investor awareness and financial literacy programs and has collaborated with several financial institutions like NSE India, BSE India, NISM, ICICI & many more educational and corporate institutions for delivering training sessions across India and for this contribution, Dr. Agrawal has been awarded twice. In 2023, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, she received the Women in Excellence Award from the Alda Foundation. She was also honoured with the Financial Inclusion and Literacy Leadership Award at the International Financial Literacy Conclave, presented by Shri Brajesh Pathak Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, for her contribution to financial literacy and investor awareness. Dr. Agrawal has also a published several research papers in indexed journals such as Scopus, ABDC, Web of science & UGC care. Besides her academic obligations, she mentors students for careers in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI). She has developed and implemented industry oriented programmes for enhancing employability, professional skills & financial awareness among learners. Through this book, Dr. Agrawal aims to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding & practical interview readiness for aspiring professionals by providing them with comprehensive guide to navigate interviews in the Mutual Fund Industry. She believes that when knowledge is combined with confidence and effective communication it becomes a powerful tool for achieving success in profession.
