Dr. Vandana Jerin is an accomplished academician with fifteen years of teaching and research experience in the discipline of History. She is presently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of History at Isabella Thoburn College Over the course of her academic career, she has remained deeply committed to historical scholarship, classroom teaching, and intellectual engagement with contemporary educational concerns. She has published more than fifteen research papers in reputed academic forums and has also authored one book based on the National Education Policy (NEP), designed especially for students of History. Her scholarly work reflects both academic depth and a sustained concern for the pedagogical needs of learners. Her fields of interest include Modern and Medieval Indian History, Indian culture and traditions, The History of religion, and indigenous cultural traditions. She also takes keen interest in the study of world peace and International Relations. Through her teaching and research, Dr. Jerin seeks to connect historical understanding with broader questions of culture, society, harmony, and global co-existence.
