Dr. Vikas

Dr. Vikas, BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), is a scholar and clinician in the Department of Panchakarma at Parul Institute of Ayurveda, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He completed his undergraduate studies (BAMS) from Baba Mastnath University, batch of 2016, and his postgraduation (MD) from Parul University, Vaghodia, Gujarat. Learning and practicing Ayurveda since 2016, he is currently pursuing his doctoral thesis on the comparative efficacy of Siravedhana followed by Yapana Basti formulations in the management of Vatarakta (gout), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sangeeta H. Toshikhane. He has published a research paper in a peer-reviewed journal and has presented his research at 6 national and 2 international paper presentations. His area of interest lies in Vatarakta/gout management and Panchakarma therapies in general, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal disorders and joint pain management.
