Prof. Dr. Sukalyan Ray

The author of this present book, Prof. Dr. Sukalyan Ray is a well-known figure in the circuit of Ayurveda education, especially in the subject of Roga Nidan Avum Vikriti Vigyan. Originally born in Tripura, Prof. Dr. Ray completed his under graduate studies in Ayurveda (BAMS) in the year 2008 from India’s oldest running Ayurveda college – J.B.Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal with outstanding academic achievements. Later, he completed his post-graduation (M.D.) in the subject Roga Nidan Avum Vikriti Vigyan in the year 2014 from another of India’s oldest Ayurvedic institutions – Shyamadas Vaidya Sastra Pitha, Kolkata, West Bengal. For the last 12 years the present author has been serving Ayurveda as an esteemed teacher in the subject of Roga Nidan Avum Vikriti Vigyan and currently holds the position of Professor & H.O.D. , Dept. of Roga Nidan Avum Vikriti Vigyan at Naiminath Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The author has personally guided more than 40 students to crack the post graduate entrance exams and his students are spanned all over the country in different administrative and educational posts. He has presented more than 10 papers in different national and international conferences and published more than 40 research papers in different national and international indexed journals. A deeply spiritual personality and an influential speaker, Prof. Dr. Ray is popular among his students and fellow professionals for his in-depth knowledge of the subject as well as his clinical acumen.
