Prof. Vastoshpati Shastri

Prof. Vastoshpati Shastri is an eminent Statistician, Academician, and author with over three decades of experience in teaching and research. He is currently serving as Professor of Statistics and Data Science, PM College of Excellence, Ratlam ; formerly served as Associate Professor at DST–CIMS, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Lecturer, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, H.S.Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.) He obtained his B.Sc.(Hons.), M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Statistics from BHU and has contributed to areas such as Bayesian Inference, Reliability Theory, and Statistical Prediction. A dedicated teacher and mentor, Prof. Shastri is known for blending conceptual clarity with examination-oriented learning. Through the Structured Objective Statistics series, he aims to provide students and aspirants a strong, analytical, and application-based understanding of Statistics.
