Vaidya Spandan Joshi

Vaidya Spandan Joshi completed his BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)from Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, Bengaluru(2022) and is currently pursuing M.D. in Ayurved Samhita and Siddhant at Parul Institute of Ayurved, Parul University, Vadodara (2026). He has published 2 research articles in DOAJ- and Web of Science-indexed journals, with further publications in process. He has presented 4 papers/posters at national and international seminars and conferences and participated in 10+ academic and professional events, including workshops, seminars, conferences, and training programmers, with 12 certificates to his credit. He was honored with the Samhita Bhushan Award in 2024 at Parul Institute of Ayurved, Vadodara. In 2025, he secured 1st Rank in Poster Presentation at AYUSH INDIA EXPO, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His scholarly work includes Ayurvedic manuscript research, with experience in studying, decoding, transcription, translation, and interpretation of classical manuscripts. He also had the opportunity to work with the National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage (NIIMH), Hyderabad, where he carried out assigned decoding and transcription work on 2 Ayurvedic manuscripts. An Ayurvedic scholar with a keen interest in Samhita studies, Ayurvedic manuscripts, and the practical application of classical principles, he has learned from experienced Vaidya’s and Gurus across different parts of India, gaining hands-on exposure to authentic Ayurvedic practice. He believes that understanding the Samhitas and learning their practical application is the foundation of becoming a better Vaidya and serving society through Ayurveda.
